Responsible Gaming
Every game listed on this site is designed so that the operator profits over time. That is not a criticism of the games — it is how they work, and it is published openly on each of our game guides. But it does mean one thing worth being direct about: over enough rounds, the player loses.
Real-money gaming is entertainment you pay for. Treated that way, it is fine. Treated as a way to make money or recover a loss, it stops working very quickly.
Set your limits before you start not duringSet your limits before you start, not during
This is the single most effective thing on this page, and it works because it is a decision made while you are calm.
- Decide a session budget. The amount you are willing to lose entirely, and would not miss. Not a target, not a float — a loss you have already accepted.
- Decide a time limit. Rounds in these games last 15–30 seconds. It is genuinely easy to play for two hours believing it was twenty minutes.
- Decide a stop-win point too. People plan for losing and not for winning, and then give the winnings back.
- Never redeposit in the same session. If the budget is gone, the session is over. This one rule prevents most serious losses.
Understand what the odds meanUnderstand what the odds mean
A house edge of 3.73% does not mean you lose 3.73% of each bet. It means that across a very large number of rounds, the operator keeps about 3.73% of everything staked.
Two consequences follow, and both matter:
Speed multiplies cost. At ₹100 a round on a 20-second game, you stake ₹18,000 an hour. At a 3.73% edge, the expected loss is around ₹670 per hour. At 7 Up 7 Down's 16.67%, the same play costs about ₹3,000 an hour. The edge looks small; the volume is not.
Streaks are normal and meaningless. Winning six rounds in a row is not skill. Losing twelve is not a game being rigged, and it does not mean a win is due. Each round is independent of every round before it.
Warning signsWarning signs
Any of these is worth taking seriously:
- Playing with money meant for rent, bills, food or family
- Borrowing to play, or playing to repay a debt
- Chasing losses — increasing stakes to get back to even
- Hiding how much you play, or how much you have lost
- Playing longer or more often than you planned, repeatedly
- Feeling anxious, irritable or low when you cannot play
- Relief rather than enjoyment when you win
The clearest single sign is chasing. If your stake goes up because you are behind, that is the point to stop for the day.
Practical steps that workPractical steps that work
- Use the app's own limit tools where they exist — deposit caps and session reminders.
- Remove stored payment methods so a redeposit takes effort rather than one tap.
- Play from a separate account holding only your gaming budget.
- Take a break — most operators offer self-exclusion or cooling-off periods. Use them.
- Tell someone. Play that has to be hidden is usually play that has become a problem.
